For Lasell's 2026 Runway show, I designed three looks. The first look is my knitwear, which I did while studying abroad. I used a knitting machine for the base dress, and the black pieces and scarf were hand knitted.
My second look is couture. This look was inspired by the Jesuit Church in Vienna, which I saw while studying abroad. The dress features a structured bodice and three layers of skirts. The longest layer is made of secondhand material.
My last look is reconstructed. For this look, the garment had to be 90% remade. I used a curtain for the skirt and parts of the top. The top and bloomers are also made with scrap fabrics from other students' projects. The black and pink "ribbon" is cut from thrifted t-shirts.
